General Information
It will be our pleasure to help organise your special occasion. Please find below comprehensive information about functions
at the Winning Post Function Centre.
Located just 2km’s from the CBD, but set in a semi-rural atmosphere with magnificent grounds and natural gardens, the
Winning Post Function Centre has been a leading function centre in the Lismore area for more than a decade.
We offer a variety of options to suit any occasion from small meetings to weddings, corporate dinners, seminars & conferences
and outdoor events. All indoor areas are fully air-conditioned & we have car-parking for more than 2000 vehicles.

Catering
- Choose between served meals, smorgasbord or finger food buffet
- All meals are served with Dinner Rolls & Tea/Coffee.
- Choose from our extensive menu that should suit all tastes and budgets. We are happy to cater for guests with special
dietary requirements upon request.
- Prices include set-up of tables & chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, tablecloths & serviettes (either
white cloth or quality 3-ply paper of a chosen colour)
- A minimum number of 60 guests applies to all catered functions and the function centre can accommodate seated meals
for up to 200 people.

Bar Facilities
- Our Function Centre is Fully Licensed with well trained professional staff.
- We serve a full range of Tooheys Beers, a quality house wine list plus a full range of spirits.
- A full list of Bar Prices is provided.
- You have the choice of dry till or pay as you go.

Further Facilities
- Round guest tables that seat 8 people
- Chair Covers are available for $4.00 per chair.
- Microphone facilities and lectern are supplied free.
- Built in dance floor, or for larger functions a portable dance floor can be arranged to hire.
- Grounds are available for a wedding ceremony at no extra charge when the reception is held at the club.

Hire Charges
- The use of the facilities are FREE for all functions that are fully serviced with catering and bar facilities.
- Security is provided for all 21st Birthday parties at a cost of $150. The Winning Post Function Centre does not hire
the facilities for 18th Birthday Parties.
- Function rooms cost $165 per day. Full day catering of morning tea / lunch / afternoon tea can be provided at a cost
of $20 per person. Minimum of 15 people apply.
- Venue hire for weddings or functions costs $250.
- Venue hire and hire of grounds for weddings or functions costs $350.

Terms & Conditions
Tentative bookings will be held for 30 days only, then a booking deposit of $50 is required to confirm your booking.
This deposit is non-refundable. If the event is not confirmed within 30 days, we may accept another booking without notice.
Cancellation of a function must be received in writing from the person who made the original booking.
An indicative number of guests attending the function is required 4 weeks prior to the event. The confirmed number
of guests is required 1 week prior to the function. This is the minimum number for which you will be charged.
All details in relation to menus, timing schedules, room set-ups etc are required 4 weeks prior to your function. Function
organizers are not permitted to supply their own food or beverages, with the exception of celebratory cakes. Any food
not consumed within the function centre remains the property of the function centre.
Clients are not permitted to bring their own alcohol for consumption at the function centre, and no alcohol is allowed
to leave the function centre. The function centre reserves the right to refuse entry to persons under 18 at certain functions
such as 21st Birthdays.
The function organiser must also agree to the following:-
- The function organiser is responsible for the actions of all guests at all times during the function.
- The function organiser agrees to ensure that all guests treat the facilities with respect and to pay for any damage
to the facility as a result of the actions of guests at their function.
- The function organiser acknowledges that the Lismore Turf Club Ltd fully endorses the practices of Responsible Service
of Alcohol, and agrees to abide by and accept the directions of the LTC management and security with regard to alcohol
consumption and guest behaviour.
