Recent track gallops in front of the Stewards and Racing NSW Officials have deemed the Lismore Racecourse fit for racing again so the Southern Cross University Cup Day that was postponed in April will now be run on Saturday 30th July. The University students always ensure a fantastic atmosphere and with live music between races with “The Rochelle Lees band”, a fashion parade and Fashions on the Field this year promises to be better than ever. Following the races on 30th July, the next Saturday sees the re-scheduled Woodlawn Cup Raceday. Marquee tickets cost $65 per person and are selling fast. So if you want to enjoy a great marquee experience and help support the Woodlawn College P & F Association contact the turf club to book your seats.

Will be drawn for $800 cash on University Cup Day, and if not won will jackpot to $850 for Woodlawn Day. To be in the running you must have renewed your membership for the 2011/2012 financial year and be on course when the draw is done.

SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST at the Lismore Turf Club
It is an honour for Lismore to be hosting this event this year and presentations will include leading trainer, jockey, apprentice jockey, NRRA Horse of the Year plus special achievement awards.

The luncheon includes a sumptuous seafood feast plus a three hour drinks package.
